Let me tell you the true story of an at-risk little boy I know who grew up in difficult circumstances... the kind of child that 2SenseWorth was created to help.

This boy's father was an abusive alcoholic who had repeatedly beat his mother, even when she was pregnant with his brother and sister.   When the boy was three, his mother, Maria, made the decision to leave her husband's abuse.  With no where else to go she took her children and fled to a relative's home.  The father tracked them down, and while the boy's mother, infant brother and sister hid in a closet, the father in a violent rage, brutally stabbed the boy's uncle to the edge of death... Just as his father was about to open the closet door ready to further wield a blood stained knife on an innocent family, the police arrived.

With the father in prison, life didn't get any better.  The boy's mother was disabled from a near fatal illness and could not work.  With three children Maria was forced to accept public housing in a crime ridden, inner-city housing project.  They struggled greatly.  Food Stamps were not enough to pay for the basic subsistence needed.  There were often days when meals were missed.  In their first Christmas, with bare cupboards, Maria contacted The Salvation Army, who literally saved them.  They brought food, clothes and insured that the little boy and his siblings had their first real Christmas.   Still, the most formative years of the boy's childhood were spent witnessing drug deals, child abuse, gun crimes, assaults and people being beaten bloody and unconscious.    Almost every day at school the boy found himself in a fight.   It was a childhood colored more by the stress of survival than the embrace of security.

At the age of ten the boy and his family were given further housing assistance and were able to rent a small one bedroom home in a better neighborhood.  Because of the strength of his mother's love and guidance, the boy stayed in school, graduated and was offered an academic scholarship to UCLA, and even earned his Bachelors Degree in Television and Film production.   He went on to become an independent filmmaker successfully creating hundreds of film, television and multimedia productions that focused on the most meaningful aspects of our human journey. 

I can now humbly say that boy was me. 

With the help of my business partner, Keith Myers, and a talented board of directors, I founded 2SenseWorth because I know that if we are to truly transform this world, no child should have to endure what I experienced and witnessed while growing up.  And yet, I was very fortunate.  I had a strong mother who resolved that what was happening outside our project's apartment wouldn't happen within me.   For those kids at risk, who didn't have the guidance I had, they need someone out there willing to do something meaningful and effective on their behalf.

And doing that something is what 2SenseWorth is about.   2SenseWorth gives virtually everyone and anyone the opportunity to play a vital role in the positive transformation of this world - by first transforming the lives of children in need.   And all it takes is a basic commitment of only 2 pennies a day.  That's it!  No matter who you are, employed or unemployed, we are talking about the ability for everyone to participate in giving 2 pennies towards positive global change that is attainable.

The new 2SenseWorth.org site has launched.    (http://www.2senseworth.org/)   Admittedly, it is still an infant and the links are basic... But our new homepage is a vital first step.    

The full 2SenseWorth.org site is now being developed....  It will be a carefully planned transformational portal designed to unite 2SenseWorth frontline leaders across the globe.  2SenseWorth.org will be available in multiple languages, and will exist as a very real, "global broadband village" -  from which aid can be launched quickly to wherever the need is the most desperate.   

2SenseWorth.org will of course be an enterprise level site.   But it will employ the most advanced database technology available today.   We plan for its functionality to leverage cutting edge, artificial intelligence protocols that - when brought to full potential - will generate a degree of processing power approaching the very edge of consciousness itself.   There will be more announced later on how this database will work to make transformational change a reality.  

But for today what we have is a pretty home page for the curious who'll click on the simple links that will lead them here  -  at least for the present and near future.    And that's exactly what we want to happen.  

Also, along with the launch of our new homepage, we are officially announcing the first major media campaign for 2SenseWorth that you will help lead....  This campaign is part of something we call Project Generation NOW.    

Project Generation NOW is loosely based on the metaphysical concept of the universal, eternal NOW that authors like Eckhart Tolle have so eloquently brought to the forefront of collective consciousness.   

But rather than discuss the spiritual implications of the meaning of "now", let's just simply get down to earth with it.  The first thing I'd want to know is who belongs to Generation NOW?   Baby Boomers?   Pre-baby boomers?  Gen Xers?   Gen Y's?     

The answer is all the above.   No matter how old you are... YOU are a member of Generation NOW.   Generation NOW breaks through the illusory divisions and duality of multiple generations.   We are all Generation NOW.   So in working towards radical transformation for the next generation, we can't help but experience that transformation for ourselves as well.  Think of it as another kind of enlightened self interest.  :-)   By doing positive good for others, we are doing positive good for ourselves... Now. 

And right "Now", I'm inviting you to take a collective first step in enlightened self interest for Project Generation NOW.  2SenseWorth would be privileged to have you be one of our directors for the first series of national commercials designed to launch the concept of 2SenseWorth to the American public.   

Here's all you have to do:  Take your video camera and find a young member of Project Generation NOW (son, daughter, niece, nephew, etc. - any child between 2 and 17), point the camera at the star (you can be handheld or use a tripod) and have him or her answer this simple question:     

What do you want the world to be like when you grow up?    

It's that easy.  For a younger child, you may need to rephrase the question a little so they better understand it.    But one thing we strongly discourage is putting words in a youngster's mouth.  Trust me, we've been doing this a long time and we'll know if that happens - and unfortunately it will make for a completely unusable take...  So for the sake of getting the child on the air, and in your own enlightened self interest, simply allow the answers to come from the purity of the little one's heart's vision.   :-)    For this to work authenticity is key.

When you shoot that brief response... I kindly ask that you to send it to us here at our Los Angeles area Vision4Media post production studio.   Along with the tapes I'll request that you include a basic talent release so we can use the image of the child you taped...  We'll soon make the talent release available on the 2SenseWorth.org site as a downloadable PDF that you can print.  Also include your name, address, contact telephone and email information.    Mail those tapes to:

Oh, one more thing...  Given the avalanche of submissions we expect, please do your best to keep the tape limited to no more than 3 minutes of recording time...  Remember after we get through editing and polishing your directed material, we will not use more than 20 seconds of any given tape.   Also, please be aware we will be unable to return your tapes once they've been submitted... So if you want to keep what you shot, do make a copy for yourself first before sending it to us.    

Our plan is to start editing these spots from your material in the last week of August.. So we ask that all submissions be postmarked no later than August 22nd.   You can shoot on mini DV format, VHS or DVD.   If you are a professional we can accept Mini DVCAM, DVCPro, DVCPro50 and Betacam SP formats.

At this moment... 

• Nearly 2 children per minute are abused in the U.S...

• Nearly 1 out of every 5 kids you know in the United States lives in poverty.   That's 12.8 million U.S. children - an amount nearly equivalent to the population of Illinois...

And in the world at this moment...

• Every 20 seconds a child under the age of five dies due to unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation facilities...
  
  
• Every 5 minutes, a child becomes infected with HIV and every 5 minutes, a child is orphaned because of HIV/AIDS....

At this moment those are devastating facts to read.

And if you're like me, you mourn how we as a collective humanity have failed these little ones.  I won't tell you to stop feeling their pain.  Feel it, and let that empathy empower your next light-filled step.   Here's the good news:

You have the power to change this moment... forever...  Honestly, however, this change won't happen in a moment... But it can happen in our lifetime, which is the moment in history to which you've been called.

And by becoming a friend of 2SenseWorth you have already made that first step to answer this call.

We know that it is every child's divine right to be loved, cared for, and nurtured.  And ensuring that each child on this planet is completely embraced by love-in-action is why 2SenseWorth exists.   At 2SenseWorth we stake our mission on the belief that a child who knows love, will never trade it for hate.  

Children who know love will perpetuate that love with their own children and beyond.   And a world where all children know love is a world that can be transformed into the divine kingdom within us all.   For 2000 years eternal words of wisdom have echoed in our hearts - "the kingdom of God is within you."   Its manifestation is inevitable.  

But few realize that the second coming of hope has always been in our hands.  Let's you and I choose to make it start happening now by sowing the seeds of loving, radical change that will create a new heaven and a new earth - all in the span of a single generation.

When I ponder the task ahead, I'm reminded of an old Protestant saying - "Pray as though everything depends upon God, but work as though everything depends upon you."   There is a time for metaphysical contemplation on such things as the nature of divinity, our authentic selves, the challenges of ego, etc...  

But none of that means anything, if we allow the above statistics to continue.  A physical effort must be made to manifest the fruits of divine love in this physical reality - here and now.   In truth, I'd rather labor next to an atheist, putting love into practice, than a "content" believer of any faith tradition who does nothing.    The work ahead of us is practical.   And as such, is doable. 

To that end we are readying the launch of our first national 2SenseWorth media campaign... and you will be given the opportunity to be directly involved in this small, yet vital, initial step towards global transformation.  

And at that moment - You too can be love-in-action that results in a new generation of absolute light-filled transformation.

While 2SenseWorth is now in a critical legal, business and creative formation process, we thought we'd at least acquaint you with the origin of this initiative.   However, in a real sense, all of you who resonate with the mission to change the world with the power of a new generation of love, are also founders.   So perhaps we should be thought of more as the current resident "custodians" - We'll take care of things initially and like janitors, we'll do a lot of servicing and clean up, as we attract an army of peaceful warriors who will help lead 2SenseWorth, and bring so many more talents, resources and capabilities than we could possibly imagine.      :-)  

The founder of 2SenseWorth is award-winnning, independent filmmaker and director, David C. Bojorquez.    Having spent half his childhoood within an impovershed housing project, with a father in prison, and a gravely ill mother whose only support was food stamps that still didn't provide enough subsistence for  him, his brother and sister, David knows firsthand the reality of childhood deprivation and abuse.  His motivation to form 2SenseWorth emanates from a deep understanding and empathy for children who are confronted with egregious obstacles that create environments injurious to the soul's natural growth towards its greatest potential.    David created 2SenseWorth for one reason:  To generate radical positive change on the earth within the span of a single generation - by  fulfilling all the needs necessary for children to reach their highest potential and achieve full actualization.  

David has been creating film, video and television media since he was in high school;  or as he likes to put it - "back when dragons roamed the earth."  (Which means the late 70's)    David attended UCLA and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Film and Television Communications.   His work has appeared on all major networks, PBS and national cable channels, like History, A&E, NFL Network, Nickelodeon, Bravo and Hallmark.    His productions have won numerous awards including over a dozen Silver, Gold and Bronze Tellys, Finalist at the New York Film Festival, and two Angel Awards.    He has produced, directed and edited hundreds of productions for broadcast and cable networks, Fortune 500 corporations and international non-profit fund-raising efforts.   More information on David can be found at http://www.consciousfilmmaker.gaia.com. 

David is joined by a team of board members comprised of some of the best people on earth - all committed to the change 2SenseWorth seeks.  Among them is  David's business partner and the co-founder of 2SenseWorth - Keith G. David is also the founder of The Conscious Filmmaker™ initiative (TCF).  TCF is a non-profit endeavor founded to promote and produce film, television and interactive media that provokes transformative thinking for the enrichment and conscious evolution of society.   One of the pillars of TCF is the promotion of causes that will effectively leverage media that works to motivate conscious evolution.  The 2SenseWorth project is the largest of such efforts that TCF supports.   Yes, that's right - we know what you're thinking -   2SenseWorth will in fact have a huge, very unique media component to it....  We'll reveal more on that later.
